The purpose was to present the company’s vision for the future regarding specialised provision within the retail sector to the higher end of the market. Among the forty companies in attendance at the evening were the UK’s leading Directors and Senior Management from Reiss, Versace, Jimmy Choo, Bang & Olufsen, to name but a few. Rutledge Joblink also invited Dr Karise Hutchinson of the University of Ulster’s School of Business, Retail and Financial Services who emphasised the importance of collaboration between the school and the private sector and the opportunities that can be gained from joint research initiatives.

As a result of the evening, a number of keynote speakers from the retail sector have already given a commitment to visit the University of Ulster next spring to participate in a round of special lectures organised by Dr Karise Hutchinson.

At the event, Rutledge Joblink were pleased to announce the continued commitment of their London operation by informing clients and guests of their intended move to new premises in Market Place, W1 in February 2007.
